Efficiency

Please assist us in maintaining the utmost efficiency of our service by minimising both the queue at the desk and the wait times on the telephone. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

• Request your repeat medication via NHS Wales App. The App will notify you when the prescription is printed.
• Select a 'preferred pharmacy' so your signed prescription is automatically sent to the pharmacy instead of collecting it from our reception desk.
• Phone after 8am for same day appointments and if possible, after 10am for routine appointments.
• Check in for your appointment at the self check in screen in reception.
• Telephone the surgery after 2pm for your test results. Please wait 5 working days after a blood test and 10 working days after a scan.
• Please ensure your contact details with us are current.
• Requests for copies of notes can take 28 days to process.
• Requests for private work can take 6 weeks to process.

IMPORTANT PATIENT NOTICE

115 appointments were wasted in April 2025 by patients not cancelling when they could not attend. Please if you can't make your appointment call the Surgery and cancel as soon as possible. This will allow us to offer your appointment to another patient.
