About

We are a GP training practice. Each year, we welcome a fully qualified doctor who has experience working in hospitals and is training to become a GP. They spend up to a year with us, working alongside our team and helping to provide your care. We really value the fresh ideas and enthusiasm they bring.

From time to time, you may also meet medical students or nurses who are training to become district nurses, health visitors, or community midwives. Sometimes, medical students may sit in during your consultation. If you’d prefer to see the doctor on your own, just let us know – that’s absolutely fine.

Recording Conversations

All calls to and from the surgery are recorded.

In a digital age when patients increasingly wish to record their consultations on their smart device, we insist that you inform the nurse, doctor, or any member of the team that you intend to do so. Covert recording is a major breach of trust, which may result in the patient being removed from the practice list.

Where we intend to record your consultation with the Doctor or Nurse, we will inform you of this. We will also let you know if we will use AI to collate all relevant information to write into your patient notes.
